Ah, well, their site is very clean and easy to get around and the form was simple though apparently I should expect a phone call too "just to confirm" so I'll let you know if anything get funny. - Jack Kealem Review 2 - Posted Dec 2007: i have an existing first plus loan which was changed from joint cover to single cover without my permission. the insurance cver that you accept with first plus is added to your loan. be aware that the insurance only last's for five years, after that period you are not covered. they wont let me continue with my review be very carefull dont let them con you like they have conned me, Review 3 - Posted Feb 2010: Sold a variable rate loan at 3.4% above FHBR. Variance after 4 years is now 9%. They are maximising their profit on the premise that it is "prudent & efficient of them to do so. Once FHBR reverts to it's 5 yr average of 5% my APR will be 18%. That would be a 9.4% increase with no increase i their costs. This disgrace of a company must be stopped - Remember this is Barclays FirstPlus.
