Here are a few Random Reviews on TheTrainLine.com UK: Review 1 - Posted Aug 2008: Very, Very Bad service. Frequently tickets do not arrive in time when posted. When using ticket machines they often don't recognise your booking. Email complaints are not read properly and replies are often incomplete and useless, or too late. They are also often more expensive that going direct to the train operator. If you try to book more than one journey at once the website crashes. Review 2 - Posted Aug 2008: Absolutley shocking aftersales service. Offshore helpdesk who do not understand the problem at hand when you called. Website defaulted to incorrect collection choice after selecting delivery next day and they were instructing me that I can get a full refund if I send the tickets, the problem was that I cant get the tickets hence the phone call in the first place. Will never use again. Review 3 - Posted Aug 2009: I booked 2 first class returns to york online. I ended up with a messed up booking for 8 seats! I called and was told it would be corrected - but in fact I had no return journey! Called again - and had to book the return for a third time. I struggled to get understood on these calls and they failed to ask the right questions. Worse still they now owe me £200 in refunds.
